Pretty lacklustre affair this but we definitely didn’t deserve to lose it right at the end.
For the most part it was a very even match.
Early on we dominated though and in the first ten minutes we’d hit the bar twice courtesy of two very well-taken feee kicks from Sam.

They had a good breakaway a few minutes later and looked certain to score - ball went wide.

The game was played mainly in midfield and overall we looked sharper - without really threatening.

They picked it up a bit in the second half and looked dangerous when attacking on their right. But nothing to worry about

We had a fantasy chance about ten minutes in; Ronan, Toby and Sam combining well to set up Shane who hit a great first time volley that went narrowly wide - great move.

Going into the last ten minutes it was looking like a draw - which would have been a fair result. Then they got a free kick on the edge of our box - dubious hand ball.

Their guy hit it well - and scored !
